Both Charlie and David are obsessed with Ripley’s Believe It Or not and loves all the different books that have come out about it. So anytime there is a new book about Ripley’s Believe It Or Not I try and get it for them. As it is something they can read together. So once I found out Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Eye Popping Oddities was up for review I contacted them to ask if I would be able to review it. So they said yes, and sent me the book for free. One Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Eye Popping Oddities arrived I wanted to put it up for Christmas but I opened it to look at and David saw me with it. So David asked if he could take it work with him which I said was fine as I wanted to know what he thought of it. David called me later from work telling me things he found in the book so I knew he was enjoying it a lot.
Once he got home I sat down to look at it and Charlie came and climbed up on the couch with me and we thumbed through Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Eye Popping Oddities and he loved the cover with the eyeballs on it. Which I also thought was pretty cool
Then he got to the Animal section and did not want to move past it as he was having so much fun checking out all the different things the animals did. I also enjoyed that section a lot. As we love animals. I asked Charlie if he thought he could teach our dogs any of the things those animals was doing and he says no, but he would like to try as he really liked the dog walking across the Tightrope.
As for me I like the rainbow house as I love colors and having things that are different from everyone else. So I askd David if we could do that to our home but he said no, we cant. David is such a party popper as Charlie and I could have painted it ourselves and it would have allowed us to make lots of new memories and things to share with his children when he grows up. Would you want a rainbow house? If so why? If not why not?
So all in all this was a huge success and would make a nice gift for Christmas to give to people who like the new and unusual. As well as for schools as it shows kids all different things they may have never heard of. The book is good for everyone of all ages. Men and women alike.
