Charlie asked me if I would read a book of his with him this morning. I figured Charlie would pick out one of his Wrestling books but he surprised me.
Charlie brought me two of his Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! books. The first book we looked through was Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Unlock The Weird! (Annual Book 13) and the second book was Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Shatter Your Senses! Charlie and and I had a lot of fun looking through these Ripley Believe It Or Not books!
Charlie even drew some of the pictures to hang up in his room. Once the Social Distancing is over Charlie wants to go to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not to see if the things we saw in the books are inside the Museum.
Inside Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Unlock The Weird! was a section called Edible Art which we can’t wait to share with our friend Nancy More Smith. Charlie and I learned about Pizza. Would you like a slice of Rabbit Pizza? I wouldn’t and neither would Charlie.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Shatter Your Senses! 2018 Charlie and I enjoyed reading about Animals and Beyond Belief where we was able to learn about a Firefly Forest. Wouldn’t that be fun to see in person?
You can use both of these novels when your Homeschooling your students for Art, and Reading. Charlie even said we can use them in math as we can track how long we read throughout the week.
