Ripleys Believe It Or Not Reality Shock is a new book I received in exchange for this review, but the thoughts of the book are all mine and my families and no, one else.
David has always loved Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! and has been asking to take Charlie which of now we haven’t done. But I am thinking after the New Year that it would be an excellent time to visit. As Charlie loves music and entertainment, and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! has both music and entertainment. Along with a lot more things Charlie and David would enjoy seeing.
When I saw Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! had a new book out called Reality Shock, I thought it would make an excellent Gift for David for Christmas. As well as another book for Charlie to read. Once Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! arrived David opened it up before I could stop him. As soon as David saw what it was David asked if he could take Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! to work with him. I told him that was fine as it meant he would practice his reading and all of us knows he can’t read so to me this was a tremendous gift as I want David to learn to read.
It was so fun because throughout the night David would call me and share things he found in Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!. Seeing him get excited about a book doesn’t happen very often so I knew Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Reality Shock was a huge hit. I will be looking soon to see if Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! has more books out as it has brought Charlie and David closer together. Charlie has even been helping David read Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Reality Shock which is nice.
Once I was able to sit down and thumb through Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Reality Shock , I found things I didn’t know but enjoyed learning about through this book. Also, I enjoyed the pictures and the colors they used in the book. Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Reality Shock is a hardbound and will not come apart from other books I have purchased.
I love knowing Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Reality Shock is broken down into sections because if someone doesn’t like one thing they can skip it. and it means you do not have to start at the front of the book. You can start at the middle or end of the book, and it still makes sense. If I was again homeschooling, I could use Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Reality Shock in our classroom in so many different ways.
All in all, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Reality Shock was a huge hit, and it is something I wouldn’t mind giving as a gift because it has something for everyone inside the book.
