Kikkerland offers new and unusual items you may or may not find somewhere in other stores. Tthis is a review for things Kikkerland sent me for the Christmas Gift Guide.
In this review, I am going to focus on the items I was sent to Charlie for Christmas from Kirkland. Then in the next report, I have something for either myself or my sister and also for David for Christmas that Kirkland was kind enough to send to me.
For Christmas David and I are purchasing a bike for Charlie. Since we want to make sure Charlie is safe when he rides his new Bike we have been looking for a helmet and horn for it. I browsed Kikkerlands I found a couple of bike horns that I thought would work. I showed them to David, and we picked out the following items for Charlie.
We chose the Black 2 In 1 Bike Bell And Light as David liked it as it looks like a speedometer in a car. Since Charlie tells us he can drive this way he can pretend his bike is a car. Plus Charlie will be able to say how fast his friends and himself are going. Charlie can race his friends and see who is going the most rapid. I like the sound it makes when it dings. So does Charlie as he heard it go off but didn’t know what it was. But Charlie says “wow” that sounded like an old-fashioned bell, and I wish I had one. So I know the Dring Dring Bike Bell from Kirkland will be a huge hit and Charlie will love all the items he finds in this years Christmas Stocking which is under the tree.
Dring Dring Bike Bell black which Charlie likes with white letters that are big enough that he will not have trouble seeing them. There is a lever on the side of the bell that is easy to push up and down. Unlike some signals I have bought in the past that was too hard for Charlie to maneuver.
The next item I chose for Charlie was a horn for his bike as it reminded me of the ones my sister, brother and I had on our bikes when we were as little. I can remember going down the hill with no feet and honking the horn like crazy. So since Charlie is my child, I am sure he will do the same things. I am sure once Charlie gets this he will scare me to death. But “boys will be boys”!! So once again I know Charlie will be so excited on Christmas morning when he finds all the items from Kirkland’s and this years Christmas Gift Guide.
The one I chose is a little bike horn which is just the right size for Charlie’s bike. It makes a cute sound, and it catches your attention as I did honk it. It made the dogs come running, and Charlie asks what it was. So I know if he can hear it through the PS 3 he was playing that I will be able to hear him when he is outside.
I can’t wait for Charlie to get his bike and both these horns as I know he will be the envy of every child in the neighborhood. Once Charlie does get his bike I will share pictures of it with you as well as the horns Charlie and David put on the bike. I can’t wait to see which one they chose as I do not think both will fit. So do not be surprised if they put one on his Wing or his Razor Scooter.
The next items I chose from Kirkland for Charlie was the Hand Crank Solar Radio as he loves music and I thought he could carry it with him when he is outside playing in the yard. Plus he can take it with him on his bike. I chose the green one as I know Charlie likes green. It wouldn’t show dirt as bad as the white one would.
The only bad thing is I should have ordered a second Radio as I am sure David will want this once he sees it. David could take it to work with him to use in the Forklift as they do not have Radios inside them. So this would help keep him awake and from being bored all the time.
I like knowing it works by sunlight as this saves me money on batteries as well as gas as I do not have to leave home to get batteries for either David or Charlie to use it.
All in all, there is a lot of other items I would like to purchase on Kikerland not only for Christmas but just because they are fun and unique. If you have not had a chance to check out Kikerland, I hope you take the time to as I am sure you will find lots of fun items for the members of your family.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
