ReM is a salvage robot is collecting and repairing junk from the Sea. There are no humans left so she is told, The life she had to live as the only human left in a world full of bots was not an easy one. After finding out there were more humans she must make some difficult choices. ReM is fearless in her fights as Is Gear her partner in the submarine.
If I was asked what genre of book this is I would have to say punk rock and this is defiantly not a genre I’ve read before but being the first book in the series and Charlie and David enjoying this book I made read others in the series and I hope you will as well. David wanted me to let you know he thinks this is a post-apocalypse story.
About the book:
ReM has never met another human. At least, none she can remember. The Creator Wars ravaged Earth, eradicating humans and their history. By the grace of the Fates, ReM survived. Thirty cycles later, she’s still hiding in plain sight, living amongst those who would slaughter her just for being alive.
A bot suit can’t stop ReM from living, or from uncovering her island roots. Something came before Axis World, before war and death. She belonged somewhere, and scavenging with her bot partner, Gear, is the perfect cover to find out where.
On a routine hunt, ReM stumbles upon a band of bot pirates. They’re after something big. And she’s determined to get to it first. But chasing bot pirates proves a dangerous business. One likely to betray her biggest secret. She’s human and one deadly truth remains: Machines run the world.
