Red Bull Air Race World Championship

My family was blessed this weekend. David had taken Saturday off to spend with Charlie and I. During the day we will be attending Red Bull Air Race World Championship at Texas Motor Speedway.

I would like to let you know I am not sure who is more excited to attend the races. Charlie or David. Although for me I am more excited that I am able  to spend the day with my family.

David can’t wait to get to Texas Motor Speedway to watch the Red Bull Air Races and share his love of flying with Charlie. Not only that but David can share his knowledge of planes with us.

Because David works at the airport. Although Charlie is excited to not only spend the day with his dad at one of his favorite places in the world. But being able to bring his best friend Aiden along with him.

Texas Motor Speedway will be the host venue for the 2018 season finale of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship Saturday and Sunday inside the world-renowned motors sports facility.

The visit to Fort Worth will be the eighth and final stop for the international air racing series that began the season in February in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and ultimately competed in seven different countries.

Texas Motor Speedway is quite familiar with the Red Bull Air Race World Championship as the venue hosted events in September of 2014 and again in ‘15. However, this will mark the first time the speedway plays host to the season finale.

Texas, the ‘Lone Star State, is the second largest in the USA. The enormous geographic area includes the Fort Worth counties, which transformed themselves from a sleepy cattle rearing territory, to a bustling metropolis representing the economic and cultural hub of North Texas.

Everything here is about scale and impact, and the Metroplex area is no exception. It’s one of only twelve American metropolitan areas that boast teams in each of the four major professional sports leagues; NFL, baseball, basketball and the National Hockey League.

For 2018, the Lone Star State welcomes back the Red Bull Air Race to the Texas Motor Speedway for the third time, this time hosting the final season showdown.

The speedway is one of the largest sports stadiums in America and, despite only opening its doors in 1997, has already garnered a reputation as The Great American Speedway‘.

The 1.5-mile quad-oval super speedway is famous for entertaining NASCAR fans from across the US. With the venue boasting a crowd capacity of 190,000, the Texas stop is a perfect showcase of the rich sporting culture the area boasts. See the pilots battle for the World Championship podium at the Texas Motor Speedway between 17-18 November.
