I’ve always loved Cats and in the past was blessed to have one as a pet. But now that we have tree dog’s and David isn’t to keen on kittens or cats it doesn’t look like I will be able to get another one anytime soon. Instead I have to find kitten merchandise to put around our home and books about cats.

Which is why I was excited to read Purring, Rolling, Stretching which Charlie will be able to use in his Homeschool Reading Class and also when we studies animals and cat ie kittens. Would you like to join us in our studies. If where lucky we might be able to visit a Shelter and play with the kittens there.

In the meantime Purring, Rolling, Stretching you should see the cover with the cat on the front of the book that look unhappy. Charlie said it reminds him of Grumpy Cat a show he used to watch. Before you ask no, I’ve never seen the show and I don’t plan on watching Grumpy Cat. Instead I will be cuddled on the couch reading this book.

For our PE Class this morning I had Charlie do some of the things the cat did like rolling on the ground. You should have seen me trying to do this. I was able to stretch but still Charlie could stretch a lot higher than I could. That isn’t fair. Then Charlie sat down to scratch our dogs since we didn’t have a cat.

Charlie wanted to be funny at breakfast this morning and Charlie slurped his cereal this morning like the cat did. Charlie ended up in trouble with David. I decided to slurp my drink and we ended up in time out but it’s okay it was a lot of fun and we made new memories. Charlie said, mom I need a box after seeing the cat playing with one. I asked Charlie why and he said then he said he could hide from the world.

Now, before you ask me what else the cat did. Charlie and I decided we weren’t going to tell you because we think you should pick up a copy of Purring, Rolling, Stretching to share with your friends and family. Don’t forget its almost time to go back to school and this board book would be a nice gift for teachers and librarians alike. Charlie did tell me to tell you if there is little boys obsessed with poop this book has it. LOL What can I say other than boys will be boys. LOL
