Pumpkin Nights

The Mommies Reviews

I was given 8 tickets to attend Pumpkin Nights in exchange for this post.

I was excited to attend Pumpkin Nights because my nephew David and Alyssa had seen Pumpkin Nights online. When we was talking they let me know they wanted to bring Lily and Jason.

I asked Alyssa what Pumpkin Nights was and she directed me to the website and once on the site I knew I wanted to attend and that David and Charlie would enjoy Pumpkin Nights.

With my sister Debbie working as much as she does I wanted to bring her with me. I went out on a limb and contacted Pumpkin Nights and was invited out I couldn’t wait to let everyone know I had tickets.

Knowing GOD always has a plan for us attending Pumpkin Nights that evening was a God send. David was Laid Off that day and Pumpkin Nights may be the only thing we can do with our families this year.

If David does get a job I would like to return to Pumpkin Nights because some of the attractions we wanted to see weren’t lite up. Charlie wants to watch the movie that is played each evening.

Seeing the kids on the Tractor took me back to my childhood when we used to play on my grandfather’s Tractor in the Summer.

David and I even discussed having dinner from the Food Trucks they had at Pumpkin Nights. Charlie wanted to try out the Desserts truck. David can’t wait to return because we spent so much time letting the kids play in the Bounce Houses we didn’t get to go back through the attractions.

If I had been Homeschooling full time we could have incorporated Pumpkin Nights into our lessons as we saw Pirates and in the past we did a lesson plan on Pirates. Charlie and the kids enjoyed digging for Buried Treasure.

I loved learning about all 7 lands and how each land had activities for families to do together. Having the signs showing telling us what to look for allowed Charlie to practice his reading.

The property Howard Farms is so pretty. I liked finding out Howard Farms host special events including Weddings. I loved how easy Pumpkin Nights was to find and how easy Pumpkin Nights is to get into and that the parking was close to the entrance.

Having a tour guide to take pictures for us made Pumpkin Nights more memorable as everyone was able to be in the pictures. I can create a album for each of the kids to share with there friends.

Charlie and I talked about hosting a Blogger Night or Homeschooling Night at Pumpkin Nights in the Future because this is the perfect Halloween adventure not only for children but adults as well

I loved being able to walk the paths before Pumpkin Nights got dark and then to come back through that evening and see everything lite up. Howard Farms and the staff of Pumpkin Nights did an amazing job putting the event together and the Pumpkins they had on display were amazing.

Charlie and Jason wanted to bring this Dragon home and name him Puff the Magic Dragon

STARTED IN THE PATCH . . . NOW WE’RE HERE.

Pumpkin Nights was founded in 2016 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds with a mission to showcase local artists, and celebrate the most magical time of year without the gore and scares. Now, Pumpkin Nights runs through the month of October in five different cities across the US.

At PUMPKIN NIGHTS, you will venture along a half-mile walking path, where you’ll discover the Forbidden Pumpkin City, a pirate’s cove, and more fantastical lands built using over 3,000 hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins. The celebration continues with entertainment and games in Pumpkin Central, our festival area.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
