This evening my family went out to Prairie Lights in Grand Prairie through tickets we received. This year the Media Event was cancelled but LORD willing they will bring it back next year. In the meantime Charlie wanted me to remind you if you come out to bring money to try the Concessions including the Hot Cheeto Corndog which before you ask I passed on. I wouldn’t mind riding the Merry Go Ride with the Animals including a funny looking Monkey.
This is a inside and outside event so you will want to bundle up. Not only that make sure you bring some money as there is always vendors to shop from and yes, more times than not I find Christmas Gifts for my family. If your needing Christmas Photos there is plenty of opportunities inside and outside the event.
When you first arrive you drive through the event for about a mile and there is lighted attractions set up on both sides of the street. Take a look at the Military decorations, Fireman and Policeman. Then cooking exhibits. oh, wow there is Tinker Bell. Much much more which I am not going to share with you as you should bring your friends and family.
We drive into the Park and get out of the Car to walk around. My sister Debbie was able to come with us tonight and she is still talk about all the lights we had just seen. Charlie and David head to get Food while Debbie and I walk around and look at all of the rides. Then we walk inside to look for the restroom.
Before we get two feet into the door my sister is saying look look look did you see this Fireplace. Ooh, man I need to bring Lily and Jason so I could get thee pictures. I let my sister know Santa is inside. We stop and take many pictures that we can use for Christmas Cards as well as giving as gifts. Then we walk inside and look through the vendors products. Debbie and I find quite a few unique gifts including my sister’s Christmas Gift.
Charlie and David walk up and we head outside and my sister was so surprised to see all of the Lights we got to walk through. Debbie and Charlie had so much fun discussing everything. By the time we finished looking I noticed we had been there over 2 hours and it only felt like 5 minutes. If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend this event you must come because its a one of a kind family friendly event that will allow you to make many many new Christmas Memories.
