The Mommies Reviews

POW! Kids Books is proud to present the February 13, 2024 release of: Messy Monkeys Written by Sabrina Andonegui and Illustrated by Lea Marie Ravotti

Everywhere Macy goes, messy monkeys are there to stir up her day! They’re in her bed when she’s trying to sleep, at the table when she’s eating her cereal, and even hovering over her when she’s in school. These messy monkeys are always making noise, pinching and squeezing her. It seems hopeless until she has an idea.

She decides to take a pause, to listen to them, and to hear what they need. All they wanted was her attention! Macy learns to love & accept each one of her monkeys. It is because of this deep empathy for her own emotions that Macy is finally able to quiet her mind.

This colorful exploration of a child’s emotions & the way she learns to listen & love each one is perfect for an elementary school classroom.
