I had planned on getting tickets for our family but I’m BlESSED to be able to say I was given three tickets to see POKEMON DETECTIVE PIKACHUat Alamo DraftHouse in North Richland, Hills.

My family is excited to watch the movie and to be able to check out the Theater because we have only been to Alamo DraftHouse once and that was in Dallas, Texas. It’s nice having Alamo DraftHouse in North Richland Hills which is right up the street from us.

David was going to work on Saturday until I let him know Charlie and I would be attending Pokemon Detective Pikachu Cereal Party, Once David heard about the movie he decided to come with us.

I’m happy David decided to attend POKEMON DETECTIVE PIKACHU with us. Watching a movies is the perfect way to spend the morning . Creating Family Time for our family.

I would like to tell you something I bet you once the movie is over Charlie and David will want to stay and watch another movie. Or they will want to hang out and watch all the activities surrounding POKEMON DETECTIVE PIKACHU which is fine with me.

If you will be attending POKEMON DETECTIVE PIKACHU I suggest arriving 30 minutes prior to showtime. Alamo DraftHouse the seating always starts 30 minutes before every movie at Alamo Drafthouse, and the pre-show is always so much fun – it’s usually themed to the movie your watching – and this also allows you time for your server to greet you and discuss the menu .

WITH AN ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT CEREAL BUFFET!

Your ticket includes the cereal buffet, which is available throughout the entire film. Pajamas are encouraged!

When word got out that a DETECTIVE PIKACHU film was in the works, you could be forgiven for feeling a bit of skepticism about it. After all, taking a well-known children’s franchise and turning it into a hybrid live-action/animated film hasn’t always yielded the greatest achievements in cinema history. But then that magical trailer landed, and it turned out that DETECTIVE PIKACHU doesn’t just look good. It looks incredible.

The film takes place in Ryme City, a busy, bustling metropolis where humans and Pokémon live side-by-side but are unable to communicate with one another. Tim (Justice Smith, PAPER TOWNS) is a human whose detective father has gone missing. When his father’s partner, Detective Pikachu (Ryan Reynolds, DEADPOOL), shows up, Tim realizes he can actually understand what this Pokémon is saying (and man, he can talk). A friendship is forged, and the two embark on an adventure to find Tim’s father that will bring them up against some of the most fierce Pokémon imaginable.

If you’re trying to figure out why you’re this excited about a Pokémon film, even if you’re not a die-hard fan of the franchise, it likely has to do with the A-list team behind it. From a director with a solid track record of family films (Rob Letterman, GOOSEBUMPS), an Oscar-nominated cinematographer (John Mathieson, LOGAN), and a team of hilarious writers (including GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY scribe Nicole Perlman), DETECTIVE PIKACHU is a funny, exciting, and thoroughly original thrill-ride that will delight Pokémon fans and newcomers alike.

Now, if you will excuse me I need to run to Walmart’s in this crazy horrible rain and pick up PJ’s for Charlie and I. Now, before you ask no, David will not wear PJ’s with us. He is a party popper. Although, Charlie may not either. We share see.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
