I was BLESSED last week when Nancy Moore Smith came with Charlie and me out to PlayGrand Adventures to the Ribbon Cutting. As we walked up to the park my breath was taken away with all the play ground equipment and seeing how this park would allow both children and adults with any disabilities a safe place to play.
I enjoyed learning about all the fundraising efforts including the tiles you see throughout the park, They shared the sponsors with us. As well as the Mayor stepping up and speaking to us.
Hearing these people you could hear the pride in there voices and how proud they were in PlayGrand Adventures and what they had created and what will be happening in the future.
Charlie was impressed to learn children of all disabilities will be able to play at PlayGrand Adventures and not be treated differently. I was amazed to hear they included Wounded Warriors which we all should help for what they did for our Country.
The butterfly’s they had on the fence reminded me children can run and fly free if they are given the right opportunities and this where PlayGrand Adventures will come into play.
