Play Street Museum

The other day while I was on Facebook I had seen a post about a new children’s museum and as I looked around the website I thought it would be the perfect Field Trip for Homeschooling Families. Although it says it is geared toward children 8 and under. I am thinking I will either take Charlie one time to see what is like or call the location and ask if they think children Charlie’s age would enjoy the museum or if he would be bored.

Because next week the location in Frisco is hosting Monster Truck Madness and Charlie loves Monster Trucks and it would be fun for him to be able to get up close to on. Although if it turns out to be a Monster Truck David or me like we might want to take Charlie’s place as we all love Monster Trucks and none of us have been close to them before.

Play Street Museum is an interactive children’s museum purposefully designed to encourage a young child’s sense of independence, exploration, and creativity.

By narrowing the focus of our museums to the interests and imaginations of children eight and under, young explorers will discover educational exhibits and activities in a world specifically crafted just for them.

Because of our deliberate and manageable scale, children are able to self-navigate throughout the museum to engage deeply in activities that they are most interested and passionate about.  This freedom reinforces independence in the child and also has the benefit of creating a more relaxed and accommodating museum experience for the caregiver.
