Charlie is out of school for the Christmas Holidays and Charlie asked if he could take his lunch once school resumed. I reminded Charlie he didn’t have a lunch kit because he had lost his.
We don’t know where Charlie lost the lunch kit at and I wasn’t planning on purchasing a new lunch kit. I found a lunch kit on a website called PlanetBox.
I contacted PlanetBox to see if they would be interested in having a review conducted for them. I let PlanetBox know I would also be placing them inside this year’s Guide.
When PlanetBox said yes, I visited their website, to pick out a lunch box I fell in love with PlanetBox tagline: Planet Box Makes Packing Lunches Fun.
Charlie didn’t know was there was a lunch kit under the Christmas tree for him from PlanetBox. I liked finding out PlanetBox is different from any lunch kits Charlie had in the past.
I would like to let you know PlanetBox is created from metal which means PlanetBox would last a lot longer than lunch kits you purchase in a store or online at other stores.
On Christmas Charlie opened his Gifts up. When Charlie got to the package from PlanetBox opened up the gifts and saw the lunch kit, Charlie asked if he could make his lunch right then.
With Charlie wanting to make his lunch right away I knew PlanetBox was a huge hit. I could see Charlie using PlanetBox not only for his school lunches but for events we attend.
Charlie’s lunch kit came with a Carry Bag in red, and the Carry Bag went over The Rover lunch kit. On the front of the carry bag is a pocket where Charlie can put his lunch money.
Charlie thought the pockets were very cool and Charlie liked finding out one pocket was open. Charlie said he would want to use that pocket to hold his pencil as well as notes from me or his dad.
I had Charlie unzip the lunch kit, and we looked inside at the containers and the magnets the lunch kit comes with. I let Charlie know there was different sets of magnets.
For Charlie I picked out Rover Magnets because Charlie loves music. I helped Charlie put the magnets on. Charlie let me know they were cool and Charlie loved how easy the magnets went on.
Charlie used his lunch kit all that day and the magnets never fell off. We were amazed at how well the magnets stayed on the lunch kit and that we didn’t have to worry about losing them.
I asked Charlie if he would like to visit the PlanetBox website to see other stickers and colors of cases. Charlie said he would like to visit the website with me and his dad.
David and I got on the computer and I pulled up PlanetBox and we spent time looking around the website. I showed Charlie and David the three different styles of lunch kits.
Charlie picked out a lunch kit he would like to get David for Valentine’s day. Then Charlie and David picked one out for me so we could take Family Picnics.
When we finished looking through the website I had Charlie open up the lunch kit and showed him the bowls inside and Charlie said they would be perfect for Macaroni and Cheese.
David let me know they would also hold Ranch for the Nuggets Charlie likes to take to lunch. There is even a spot inside the lunch kit which will hold silverware if Charlie needs to bring some to school.
Charlie and I experimented with the lunch kit and we found out when we removed the big bowl that there was a square which would hold a sandwich.
There is a small bowl perfect for dipping sauces or even Salad Dressing if you wanted to take a Salad to work. I told Charlie I might have to borrow his lunch kit so I could take my lunch one day.
We closed the lunch kit and I showed Charlie how they lock. Charlie tried the lunch kit out himself because he wanted to see if he could open the lunch kit on his own and not need help and Charlie did fine.
For our family, PlanetBox will make lunch time more fun and unique. PlanetBox will allow us to save time when we fix our lunches and twill let Charlie take new foods to lunch. PlanetBox will keep the hot foods warm and the cold foods cold.
