When we #PictureYourselfinMesquiteFamTour our lunch was provided by Jason’s Deli. Which we brought to City Lake Park for a picnic. I enjoyed seeing the Lake which was full of Ducks swimming.
There was a Gazebo we could have sat under at City Lake Park only someone had rented the Gazebo. We ended up finding Picnic tables and eating with our families. I wish we had one long Picnic table were we could have gotten to know each other better.
Being spread out didn’t hinder the children from playing together. I just wish we had been closer to a play ground because this would have been fun for the children.
We all chose a lunch from Jason’s Deli which came with water Thank the Lord because I was so thirsty. I just wish I had had a coke or glass or tea but being out in the heat Tea is better for us.
David chose Reuben THE Great because this sandwich had a 1/2 pound of hot corned beef or pastrami, Swiss, sauerkraut, Thousand Island dressing, grilled on rye.
David loved how big Reuben THE Great was. I asked David if he liked the Multigrain bread and David said he did. David said he can’t wait to visit Jason’s Deli in the future not only to order this sandwich but to try the Baked Potato’s some of the bloggers had ordered.
Charlie ordered J.D. Nuggetz Kids Gluten-free and 100% antibiotic-free chicken breast. Then you can chose the sides you want to go with your meal and a drink.
There was quite a few Kids Meals Charlie had to chose from and it was so hard for Charlie to decide. But after discussing the options Charlie said the Nuggets would be the easiest and less messiest to eat.
Charlie asked David to try J.D. Nuggetz David said he liked the taste and that they came with a Pickle and Chips. Charlie says he would like to order them again.
I chose Deli Club Ham, roasted turkey breast, bacon, cheddar, Swiss, leafy lettuce, tomato, mayo, on toasted multigrain wheat. I liked the bread and the amount of Meat on the sandwich. I was able to customize the way I wanted my sandwich.
Charlie and I can’t wait to try out Club Royale Smoked turkey breast, ham, bacon, Swiss, cheddar, leafy lettuce, tomato, honey mustard, on a toasted croissant.
