Perot Museum made our children feel special yesterday.
recieved a invitation to attend the Perot Museum 3rd Annual Blogger event. I asked both Charlie and David if they would like to attend the event with me. Now, I knew David would want to as he enjoys museums. Although with Charlie I wasn’t sure Charlie would want to attend.
So when I asked Charlie and he said yes, he would like to attend as he enjoys museums. I was blown away but both Charlie and I thought it would be fun. But I am so glad I took Charlie yesterday as the Perot Museum made spoiled our children and made Charlie feel special.
So yesterday we all got up and got dressed to head out. And Charlie was so excited it was so nice as I hadn’t seen him this excited in a while. So once we arrived at Perot Museum and walked in and Charlie saw a Dinosaur his face lit up like it does on Christmas morning.
So we checked in and went downstairs to where the event was. And we walked in and Charlie immediately got into line to make him some Hot Chocolate. So I grabbed us some breakfast snacks. Only there wasn’t anything Charlie would eat. So I figured this would cause a melt down but he went with the flow. And asked if he would be able to eat the cookie that was on our table. And I said it was fine to eat it.
So as we sat and chatted a bit I kept seeing the other children go up and decorate a cookie. So I asked Charlie if he would like to as well. Only he said no, but then as time went on he changed his mind. So I went with him and he decorated a Snowflake Cookie all on his own. Once we got back to our table Charlie asked if he could eat it and both David and I said yes. So he tried it and he liked his Snowflake cookie a lot and let me taste it and it was very good. And David also took a small bit and liked it just as much as Charlie and I did.
So then as we was sitting at our table a lady came by and let us all know the Teddy Bears was for the kids to take home. So Charlie put his in his chair with him. And as we was leaving a lady asked if he had named his and he said yes, it is Bulldog.
Then Charlie started looking at the other items on the table and he put the mask on his face which was a bird like you will learn about in “Birds of Paradise. Then Charlie looked into the coloring book they game him and he has asked if we can color the birds today when he gets home from school.
Which will be nice as it gives us time together. So I told Charlie we would just need to find some crayola’s or colored markers but Charlie says no, we wont as he was given a little colored pencil holder with pencils and a sharpener on it. Which is nice as it keeps everything in one place.
I hope you enjoyed learning more about how the “Perot Museum made our children feel special yesterday.” Not only through the Gifts the children was given but by the small kid friendly tables they had set up in front of the room where the kids could color while we listened to the speeches.
I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read “Perot Museum made our children feel special yesterday.” Now I would like to ask you what place have you taken your children that spoiled them and how did the business do this?
Be watching as I will be hosting 2 different Giveaways soon for 2 Giveaways for 2 families of 4 for two different events.
