To Charlie, David and I the Perfect Field Trip would be to ride the Grapevine Vintage Train. Because even though all of us have lived here our entire lives none of us has ever ridden the Grapevine Vintage Train.
I think this year we will all purchase tickets for the Grapevine Vintage Train and ride it into Grapevine and spend the day exploring Grapevine as there is so much to see and learn in this little town.
Or of the boys wanted to park in Grapevine and catch the Grapevine Vintage Train, we could ride it into the Stockyards and walk through the Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas and check out the Museums. And watch the Gun Fights they have on Main Street. And wander in and out of the little stores.
I have a question for you if you have ridden the Grapevine Vintage Railroad is it better to go into Grapevine and catch the train and go into the Stockyards? Or to catch it in the Stockyards and ride it to Grapevine and get off there and look around?
And have you taken a Field Trip to either Grapevine, Texas or the Stockyards and if so what all did you see and what did you study? As I would like to make sure we cover everything when we take these Field Trips but I also want to make sure they are fun and Charlie enjoys them as well as David. Since he will be attending with us.
