The Mommies Reviews

I wanted to share a new Spice I wanted to use to make some Indian Food which would give us something new for dinner. Inside the Indian Food I will be using Pereg Ground Tumeric .

Turmeric Powder

Before I share my thoughts with you I would like to let you know I was sent
Pereg Ground Tumeric in exchange for this review. The thoughts in the review is mine and mine alone.

The other day David was making Chicken for dinner and he asked me how I wanted it cooked. Even though I wanted Fried Chicken I couldn’t have it on my diet.

I asked David if he would Grill my Chicken and then for his and Charlie’s they could use Shake and Bake. David said he would just Grill all the Chicken as it would give them something different to eat.

David begin to look in the cabinet for spices to put on the Chicken. Charlie’s David used Seasoning Salt. For mine David used Lemon Pepper. Then David asked me if it would be okay if he could use Pereg Ground Tumeric used for his Chicken,

I let David know that would be fine. Dinner got done and we all sat down to eat. Charlie asked to try David’s chicken and Charlie said he liked Pereg Turmeric Chicken better than the chicken David made for him.

David had to get up and fix more Pereg Turmeric Chicken for Charlie. While David was cooking I tried and a bite and I also liked Pereg Turmeric ChickenThe next time I will use make Pereg Turmeric Chicken for me as well.

I let David know I would like to try Pereg Turmeric Chicken on Pork Chops. David said he thought Pork Chops would be good and would try them with me. Charlie heard us and asked David to make him Pork Chops as well.

Description: TURMERIC POWDER
Turmeric has anti-oxidant properties which is why it has long been an Indian home remedy for many illnesses. Turmeric is used on its own in many Asian dishes, including fish curries, dhals, pilafs as well as in many North African meat and vegetable dishes.

Turmeric also gives chutneys and pickles (such as piccalilli) their distinctive yellow tinge. Turmeric has a slight peppery aroma and a musky taste!
