Parenting Teenage Girls by Rebecca Flagg

The Mommies Reviews

I wanted to share a self-help book for parents of Teenage girls this morning called Parenting Teenage Girls by Rebecca Flagg from Dawn Publishing House that I received in exchange for this review. Being the parent of both a boy and a girl I’ve had the opportunity to raise teenagers twice and let me tell you there as different as any two people could be. With it being so long since Suzzie passed away at 16 I chose to read this book to help me prepare for the girls Charlie will be dating because Charlie may have questions I couldn’t answer or even the girls.

I sat down and began to browse through the book and the more I read of the book the stronger I could see parents and girls becoming from the information offered in the book. Both my nieces will be entering puberty soon and through this book I plan on sharing with there parents they will know how to talk to there daughters.

There is also a chapter on peer-pressure which not only children deal with but adults as well. Then there is a chapter on depression which was a God-send for my family and even though the Author wrote this book for girls there was information in here that helped Charlie and I out and I believe this information can help your parents as well.

If your daughters are on Social Media which it seems everyone in the world is you should check out “The Toxic Social Culture of The World Today”. Then the Author touches on self-respect and confidence which we all need. In the back of the book is references all parents and even teachers and counselors can use.
