Parenting Teenage Boys: 10 Key Topics to Discuss with Your Teenage Son in Today’s World by Rebecca Flag (Author)

Parenting Teenage Boys: 10 Key Topics to Discuss with Your Teenage Son in Today’s World the Author discusses 10 topics to discuss with your son in today’s world including grades and peer pressure and sex ed. As a mom it isn’t easy to talk to a boy about sex and even though David knew he needed to he has buried his head in the Sand and hasn’t talked to Charlie at all which worries me.

Charlie has begun dating and he had a steady girlfriend thank the LORD she is was in Washington and we didn’t have to worry about them seeing each other because the things they talked about blew me away. Girls are not like I was when I was growing up and will talk about sex like it’s nothing. This young lady even had Charlie ask me if she could do something to Charlie and if she could spend the night.

Get this she was only 15 and finally when David decided he needed to talk to Charlie he let his dad know it was to late he had learned all he needed to know from the Internet. LORD help us which I’m not sure is true and I believe Davis still needs to talk to Charlie but since I’m not sure David will I will be using Parenting Teenage Boys: 10 Key Topics to Discuss with Your Teenage Son in Today’s World and have the talk with Charlie myself.

If we were still Homeschooling I would have used Parenting Teenage Boys: 10 Key Topics to Discuss with Your Teenage Son in Today’s World in our Homeschool Home Economics Health Class. If your the parent of a boy you need to pick up a copy of this book as soon as possible and don’t forget to also pick up How To Deal With An Angry Teenager because they can be so rude and angry and not even know as the book says that there being A…holes

The Author also discusses teenage depression which I believe Charlie suffers from and not having insurance I can’t take Charlie to the doctor or counselor like I need to. Then there is a chapter on bonding with our teenagers and the older and more independent Charlie becomes this was something I defiantly needed to read and so will you. I the book is exercises for us to do as a family and Charlie and I will be starting on them this morning.

Despite how complex and sensitive this topic is, there is a disappointing lack of information available for parents to use to parent their teenage boy .Until now
