The other night David, Charlie and I went to see Paddington 2 at AMC Theaters in Fort Worth, Texas. As we had seen Paddington one when it came out. Now, I can tell you David wasn’t too sure he wanted to see it. But went ahead and watched Paddington 2 with us. As this is the family event we try and do once a week. As it is a great way to spend time together as a family. Plus a lot of the movies we chose to see can be turned into Lesson Plans for Charlie in homeschool.
I can tell you David surprised me once we left the theater as he said he would like to pick up both Paddington and Paddington 2 to add to our movie collection. As he really enjoyed the storyline a lot and wanted to watch them both together. I agreed with David as I loved the storyline and there are so many teaching moments it that I can’t wait until this week to work on lessons with Charlie.
We got into the car I asked Charlie what he thought about Paddington 2 and Charlie said it was the perfect movie for children to watch as they can learn a lot of new things from the story. Charlie says he learned that you shouldn’t steal because it isn’t right and you could get into trouble and if someone is with you they could get into trouble as well.
Charlie learned that even though families are far apart you can stay in contact by writing letters or postcards. If you’re wanting to purchase a Gift for someone then you should find ways to pay for the Gift and not expect people to give the money to you. Charlie says, he also learned that even though someone might be different than you are you should be nice to them.
Charlie and I can’t wait to see if they come out with Paddington 3 in the movies as there is such a huge variety of books and adventures Paddington goes on that we want to see them all on the Big Screen. Have you seen Paddington or Paddington 2 and if so would you like for them to come out with another movie? Have you read all the books because Charlie and I haven’t. So we need to go to the library and check them out this week.
