Howdy, how are you this morning? As I thought about my post for this mornings our Favorite Foods from A to Z Letter B, I kept thinking of the Bean, Meat and Cheese Burritos my grandmother used to make for dinner.
I really wish she was here to make them for Charlie. Because no, matter where I go to get a Burrito from or even making them homemade and using the same ingredients she did they are not as good.
I thought I thought I would share Bacon with you which is not only my favorite food but my niece Lily and also my nephew David. They could eat Bacon on anything and everything and still not get tired of Bacon.
For me I love Bacon on Cheeseburgers. As well as a Bacon and Friend Egg Sandwich which my dad used to make us for dinner. I wish he was here to have one with me.
Last night I was blessed when David cooked dinner for me and brought me a whole plate of Bacon to share with Sandy. With two Fried Eggs which I could eat off the plate or turn into a sandwich.
In the meantime what is your favorite food that begins with the letter B and why?
Don’t forget to check out Marth DeMaeo and Lia’s post for the Letter B as they share Bananas. I wish I had a slice of Lia’s Banana Bread now of my grandmother’s which she would make in a Folgers Coffee Can.

Thank you,

Blueberries and Bacon are two of my favorite foods. I add bacon to almost all of my salads. Bacon is a big draw to people just starting or thinking of starting a keto diet. I have been on keto for a couple of years and lost over 100 pounds, a lot of it thanks to bacon. I like extra-thick bacon as well as peppered bacon. Blueberries in yogurt is one of my favorite desserts. Great choice for todays favorite food.
Ohhh how I love bacon! My favorite is fried cabbage and bacon! I also like to crumble up pieces of bacon and toss it in with eggs, onions, cheese and top with tomatoes for a delicious omelette
Preach it, Glenda! Either you like bacon or you’re wrong. Absolutely!! I’m wanting to learn how to make a bacon, egg and cheese casserole and finally found some recipes that don’t have hash browns in them, so might try them too. For dinner, I imagine. I know what you mean, too, about missing the cooking of people who are gone. My mom used to make cabbage with bacon or ham and it was always so good! Delish.
