David drives me up the wall when it comes to our finances because he doesn’t write things down. Or keep up with the bills when they come in. Now don’t get me wrong does pay them, and he always knows what is due when.
But if something were to happen to him, I would be up a creek without a paddle as I couldn’t pay the bills as I don’t know what is due when. Nor, do I know if I am on the paperwork and if the utility companies would even speak to me. So I have decided it is time to take back my life and our finances.

I worry about money more than I need and I am worried things will not get paid. David will buy stuff for us or take us out to dinner. When I ask if we have the money he tells me not to worry about the bills as he will take care of them and yes, he always does manage to take care of us. Although living like this scares the beejeebies out of me.
I am so tired of getting by with the skin of our teeth. As this is how my parents lived and bills were always being turned off, and I don’t want to live like that.So I have decided this week that David and I are going to have a come to Jesus meeting and I am going to make darn sure he uses this printable I had created for us. If he doesn’t then, I am taking over the finances, and on payday, he can give me his check, and I will take care of the bills. I know if I do this we will be able to save money and make the trips David and Charlie have wanted to go on.
