Organizing and Keeping Up With Library Books

The Mommies Reviews

I’ve been working on school for next year. As well as cleaning our home. I would like to let you know Charlie has been helping me clean and organize what used to be our classroom. Along with helping me organizing and keeping up with library books

Inside the old classroom I keep finding school books and papers in places they shouldn’t be. Including  library books we check out each week. When it’s time to take the books back to the library, we have to scramble to find them.

I would like to let you know that if you take the time to check out Heather’s blog called Blog, She Wrote organizing and keeping up with library books can happen.

All you would need to do is use Heather’s advice will cut down on the stress and frustration because the books you check out are always where you expect them to be.

I was going through emails this morning. I received an email from the blog called Blog, She Wrote inside were two articles  I would like to invite you to check out.

The first article teaches us how to keep our library books in one place. After reading  Library Book Shelf, I will be implementing the  things Heather recommends for my family.

Right now the books we check out from the library are in a basket and Charlie and I  have to go through this basket every time  we want to sit down and read a book.

Having to spend time looking through all the books allows us to waste time we should be reading which in Homeschooling we need to save time not waste time.

The second article I would like to invite you to check out is called Adventure Boxes. With Summer here in Texas we’ve been spending a lot of time at the park.

Once a week I’m going to put together an adventure box  to take with us to the park. We can get out and have one on one time together without being on the electronics.

I would like to let you know the beautiful thing about adventure boxes is we can let the children put boxes together for adults to open once we get to the park or wherever were going. The Adventure boxes could even be taken on Field Trips we attend for school.

I have a few questions for you if you don’t mind answering these questions. The first question is where do you keep your library books? Do you have a dedicated space for the library books you check out? Are the children good about putting the library books back once they are done reading them?

The second question I have for you is, have you ever used an adventure box in your classroom? If so what did you put inside the adventure boxes you prepared for your children? How did the children like the adventure box?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
