I thought I would share a cute book with you called Only Isla by Bronnie Thomas I received a PDF copy of the book from Voracious Readers in exchange for this review. Only Isla you will come across secrets, life changes, grief, loneliness, work/life balance, travel, trust, and growth thrown in with a Cafe that I would really love to bring my girlfriends to. This is a romance book but also a Family Drama. Secrets and mysteries abound. The book reminded me a lot of myself as my parents have also died and before my dad passed he had mentioned my mom had a son we never knew about and I don’t know if its true or not.
Reading Isla story allowed me to put myself in her shoes. As she grieves her parents passing to find out her mom had a son. Who was adopted by a wealthy family. They meet and things happen and like lots of families there is a lot of drama. Then you throw in the brother’s friend and the romance comes in.
I am not going to tell you if its happily ever after or not because I believe you should read the book on your own to find out. What I will tell you is to make sure you have tissues on hand as I found myself crying at times and I believe you will as well. This is a true story for romance lovers which left David and Charlie out this time. Although if it was made into a movie I’m sure David would watch Only Isla with me.
