Welcome to October as we begin a new week I thought I would bring you October Resources Including Bingo and Writing Prompts we can use in our Classroom. I can’t wait to print all of these out for Charlie to work on this week. I showed Charlie we had Writing Prompts featuring a Owl Charlie was so excited as this was Crazy Mimi’s favorite animal.
October Brain Busters
Product Description
This file contains a PowerPoint and pdf file for you to use first thing in the morning. 20 Brain Busters and their answers are included as well. Project the Brain Buster of the day onto your SmartBoard, or equivalent, and have your students think of what the answer could be while you are doing your attendance recording, checking homework, and all the other things you have to do before your actual classes start.
There is a monthly recording sheet for the students to keep track of the answers they come up with. This product has been designed to help English language learners learn the nuances of the English language, to challenge students to think “outside of the box”, and to work on problem solving skills. They are also visually appealing so that the students can retell the Brain Busters to family members and friends once they have learned to answer and meaning behind each problem.
