Good morning, how are you? Before Charlie and I go outside to spend the morning with my Niece Lily and my nephew Jason I wanted to bring you Homeschool Resources: October Lesson Plans/ Unit Studies. Charlie out the idea I shared below and if you have other ideals for October leave me a comment and I will look up your suggestions. As Charlie is also wanting to study Pumpkins this month.
October 1 – National Day of the People’s Republic of China
Come join us as we check out the foundation of the People’s Republic of China using the following Lesson Plans/ Unit Studies Ancient China Unit, Asia Unit teaching us about China and Mongolia. Then jin us as we take a virtual tour of the Great Wall of China.
October 2 – Thurgood Marshall Sworn into U.S. Supreme Court (1967)
In the Lesson Plan. Unit Studies Charlie will be learning who Thurgood Marshall is and what he did through the Supreme Court Unit.
October 11 – Indigenous People’s Day
Did you know on this day we we honor all Native American peoples around the Country and to help you with your studies check out Native America Unit.
October 15 – Global Handwashing Day
Handwashing and Germs go hand in hand and I would like to ask you to check out a Lesson Plan/ Unit Study on Germs Unit.

October 28 – Stock Market Crash of 1929
I can tell you I am glad I wasn’t alive back then but I want to know more about what happened and its why Charlie and I will be studying the Lesson Plan/ Unit Studies about the Great Depression Unit. Would you like to join us in our Studies?
October 31 – Halloween During our Halloween party this year Charlie will be looking through the following Unit Studies/ Lesson Plans Bones, Spiders, and Mummies, for our reading Lessons. Then we will be watching a Halloween Movie and Charlie has chosen The Adams Family. |
