With the Holidays right around the corner I have been putting together things Charlie and I can do while David is at work. So this morning I thought I would share events happening at North East Mall. Please take a look at the Holiday Celebrations and let me know which ones you would like to attend and why.
As for Firewheel Town Center neither David, Charlie or I have been there. Though with the Carriage Rides I would like to go check out this mall and also see what other activities they have happening. As this would be the perfect way to spend the day with the people I love the most.

Children can whisper wishes and capture photo memories with Santa beginning November 10 through December 24 in Center Court at North East Mall and be beginning November 22 through December 24 next to the Sweet & Sassy store near the Park at Firewheel Town Center. Each child visiting Santa will receive adjustable reindeer ears, while supplies last.

“One of the great traditions of holiday shopping at Firewheel Town Center and North East Mall is the annual family visit to the Simon Santa Photo Experience,” said Holly Conner, Area Director of Marketing. “I know Santa can’t wait to greet children bringing him their holiday wishes.”
North East Mall and Firewheel Town Center also provide children with special needs and their families with an opportunity to enjoy this time-honored holiday tradition through sensory-friendly Caring Santa events in partnership with Autism Speaks. These private photo sessions exclusively for families of children with special needs will take place at North East Mall and Firewheel Town Center on Sunday, December 3 from 9 to 11 a.m., prior to opening. Guests must register in advance at simon.com/caringsanta. Caring Santa events have expanded from seven Simon malls in 2011 to over 100 Simon malls today, reflecting the positive impact of this unique program.
For local pet owners, the popular Pet Photo Nights with Santa will occur on Sunday, December 10 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Firewheel Town Center and North East Mall. Many pet owners view their pet as an integral member of the family and are just as committed to caring for their pets as their “human” family members. Pet Photo nights are hosted after regular mall closing at the properties and the set gets an extensive cleaning following the event to remove any potential risk to allergy sufferers. Shopper appreciation programs will take place throughout the holiday season at Firewheel Town Center and North East Mall.
FIREWHEEL TOWN CENTER HOLIDAY PROGRAMMING
Firewheel Town Center will host a Santa Spectacular Celebration on Saturday, November 25 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in The Park. Santa will arrive via special delivery aboard Firewheel Town Center’s Holiday Express Train in the Park. Families are encouraged to wait for Santa’s arrival in the Park near the fountain and enjoy hot cocoa, cookies, and caroling while waiting. Upon arrival, Santa will lead the way to the Photo Experience space for visits and photos, or stick around in the Park for craft activities, games & more.
Guests will also enjoy delightful sounds of holiday music with an assortment of musicians and entertainers performing at Firewheel Town Center this season. A special ensemble dressed in Victorian-era costumes will stroll the sidewalks performing a classic arrangement of holiday songs. Caroling will take place on Saturday, December 16 from 3 – 5 p.m., Thursday, December 21 & Friday, December 22 from 12 – 2 p.m. and on Saturday, December 23 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Complimentary holiday carriage rides will also be available in the park on Saturdays beginning November 25 from 5 – 8 p.m.
NORTHEAST MALL HOLIDAY PROGRAMMING
Parents and their children are invited to welcome jolly Ol’ Saint Nick and his elves when they arrive in North East Mall on Saturday, November 11 at 10 a.m. aboard the Holiday Express Train. Families are encouraged to wait for Santa’s arrival in the Dining Pavilion and join his welcome parade as it makes its way through the mall towards the Santa Spectacular Celebration in Center Court from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Santa will be available for visits and photo purchases during the event.
Shoppers can enjoy the delightful sounds of holiday music and caroling with live performances in the courtyard in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods at North East Mall December 1-22. Listen as violin ensembles, orchestras and choirs perform your favorite holiday classics, plus dance troupes and other entertainment groups will be onsite to perform festive routines admired by all. Additionally, North East Mall encourages shoppers to help make Christmas brighter for those in need through their Salvation Army Angel Tree program, accepting donations in the Nordstrom Wing November 10 through December 6.
