The other night my family was running errands David asked Charlie and I if we wanted to have dinner before returning home. I said that would be nice. Even though Charlie fussed a little bit as he wanted to get home to play Charlie agreed we should grab dinner. David asked us where from and I said I didn’t care.
David asked if we would like Italian Food as he was wanting Pizza but from a sit down restaurant. I said yes, I would like that as well. We both asked Charlie. After much fussing and grumbling Charlie said Italian Food would be fine. I asked Charlie what he would eat and he said he and dad could share a Pizza.
David asked me where I would like to eat at and I said I didn’t care just to pick a restaurant as I was hungry. We were on Rufe Snow we could jump over to Davis Boulevard David asked me if I would like to try out Niki’s Italian Bistro and Lounge which we had seen earlier in the week.
I let Charlie know it would be fun to try out Niki’s Italian Bistro and Lounge as they had opened their business up in a restaurant I had grew up in as a child. Allowing me to share one of my parents favorite restaurants with Charlie. As soon as we walked in I feel in love with the seating area and all the decorations and the care they put into the restaurant.
There are two sides and the side we were set in had this beautiful fountain set up that I feel in love with. I loved all the Wine Bottles sitting around. I went to the Restroom I was able to take a peek into that dinning room. I loved the Fireplace in there and I would like to come back on a chilly evening and have dinner in there.
Niki’s Italian Bistro and Lounge is the perfect place to host a Meeting or a Corporate party. As well as the perfect restaurant for families. As they offer recipes for kids through adults. I could even see hosting a Blogger Event here one evening. I am blessed to have lunch with my friend one day a week and I can’t wait to bring her here to dinner.
Niki’s Italian Bistro and Lounge offers a variety of dishes from adults to children. Including daily specials which I can’t wait to try out the next time we have dinner here. David liked finding out there is a full bar and has let me know he would like to bring his mom to lunch here as he knows she would enjoy not only the food but the decorations.
We were placed in a corner so Charlie was able to work on homework as we waited for our meals to arrive. I was very impressed with how kind and knowledgeable our waiter was. You could tell he loved his job and it showed in the service we received. With us never being to Niki’s Italian Bistro and Lounge before our waiter helped us choose the perfect meals for our family.
As we waited for our main meals to arrive we were brought a basket of bread and butter. I liked how the waiter brought us Saucers to place the bread on. David tried the bread and he let me know he liked the taste and wouldn’t mind picking up this bread the next time we prepare Italian Food at home.
Charlie asked if he could have a piece of bread both David and I said yes, he could. I was amazed to see Charlie eat the whole piece of bread and ask for more. Charlie isn’t much of a Bread Eater. I tried the bread and loved the taste.The bread wasn’t dry and also it wasn’t hard. I can’t wait to have more of this bread.
I was torn between Lasagna or Spaghetti and Meatballs. As you can see Spaghetti and Meatballs is what I ordered. I loved the Sauce they used and the Meatballs were so tasty and my meal came with enough Meatballs that I was able to cut them up and have meat in almost every bit I ate. I had enough that I had lunch the next day.
Charlie and David ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza and they couldn’t eat all of this Pizza which surprised me. Because there large is bigger than the Pizza Restaurants we order from and have delivered to our home. We will always order this size as it gives Charlie and David lunch the next day. I was amazed that this Pizza was cheaper than other restaurants offer and twice as big.
I tasted the Meat Lovers Pizza which had the perfect amount of Pizza Sauce. I liked how I was able to eat all the meats and none of them were Spicy. Even though I am not much of a Pizza Eater anytime we decide to have Pizza I will have David stop by here on his way home and pick up dinner for our family.

Nikis Italian Bistro North Richland Hills is a family owned restaurant, providing a wide variety of delicious Italian entrees served in attractive, Old World style, dining rooms, including a fireplace and a cascading fountain.
We have a pianist in the dining room Wednesday through Saturday during our dinner hours. Sunday afternoon we have a pianist joining us for your after church gathering.
Our lounge has regular karaoke hours on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s from 8p-12a. Poker Hours based on donations on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s 8p-10p. Live bands are booked on Friday’s and Saturday’s from 8p-12a.
