National Puppy Day

The Mommies Reviews

This week has been crazy and the other day was National Puppy Day and I had meant to share our furbbies with you. Then share our dream dogs with you but David was off and I spent most of the time watching movies with my family.

Our big baby Annie Ramona from One Day At A Time. Charlie named her and found her in Oklahoma, Oklahoma and we brought her back with us.

was working this morning I couldn’t get National Puppy Day ff my mind so this morning I wanted to share our babies with you. As the dogs are the ones keeping us sane at the moment

Observed each year on March 23rd, National Puppy Day celebrates the unconditional love and affection puppies bring to our lives.  Their cuddles and wiggles make us smile and without a doubt, there are squeals of delight when there are puppies around!

This was our second dog and came from Leslie’s dog. She was our son Travis and he named her Milkshake. I took her when C was little and she became his. I named her for Lucy in Charlie Brown but David calls her Lucy Ricardo from I Love Lucy.

This is Bear ad I am not sure how Charlie came up with this name. She is from Lucy and Charlie’s dog Max. Bear loves Charlie and no, one else.

NATIONAL PUPPY DAY HISTORY

National Puppy Day was founded in 2006 by Pet Lifestyle Expert, Animal Behaviorist and Author, Colleen Paige.  Paige is also the founder of National Dog Day and National Cat Day

Sandi named for the movie Grease. Sandi is the oldest of our dogs. David brought her home to me as a Puppy. She was all Ears back then. We called her The Flying Nun.. ie Girly Girl.
  • Our dream dogs:

Charlie would like to have a Bull dog.

I would like a Saint Bernard or a Great Dane but would take a full bloodied German Shepard in memory of Suzzan’e dogs Sam.

David would like another Basset Hound as he had to give Samantha his away when I was regnant. Or a Hound Dog which my sister would alike.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
