The Mommies Reviews

Good morning, welcome to March 3rd National Food Holidays: National Cold Cuts Day and National Moscow Mule Day. When I mentioned National Cold Cut Day to David said aww time for a Dagwood Sandwich.

Do you know who would eat a Dagwood Sandwich? Do you remember the Saturday morning comics when Blondie was in them? Wach week Dagwood would make his famous Sandwich?

Dagwood Sandwich recipe - from the Cook Book Family Cookbook

Doesn’t that look yummy?

My favorite sandwich is Turkey, Ham, Bacon with Mayo on a Croissant. Before you add the Mayo you melt the Cheese and warm the Sandwich up.

When I worked at the Houston Street Bakery in Downtown Fort Worth, they would make a Ham and Turkey Sandwich on Sourdough warmed up and then we would add Mayo. That was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had.

Croissants

Oven Roasted Turkey or your favorite flavor of Turkey which could even be Smoked Turkey

Ham we use Black Forrest Ham but you could even use Honey Ham or what ever you prefer

Vegetables like Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles or anything your heart desires. I don’t use Veggies on my Sandwich.

Cheddar Cheese or your favorite type of Cheese David like’s Pepper Jack. Charlie and I have used Kraft American Cheese

With your sandwich you might want to try outa beverage called Moscow Mule Cocktail. Which neither David or I have had. I thought we might try a Moscow Mule Cocktail when were watching a movie.
