My Puppy Gave To Me Published by Cheryl Dannenbring

I wanted to share a new children’s book called My Puppy Gave To Me Published by Cheryl Dannenbring  which I was sent to review. You will find this novel inside this years Christmas Gift Guide.

My family and I sat down to read My Puppy Gave To Me and I could hear myself singing the 12 Days of Christmas. More than that I could see our dog Angel doing everything this puppy was doing and so much more.

Then like the puppy in the end of the book I could see Angel passed out somewhere like she had never done anything wrong. Which would make me want to get on Angel but she is so darn cute I might not get on her.

I totally loved My Puppy Gave To Me and could see us reading My Puppy Gave To Me every year as we count down the days to Christmas.  I could see Charlie taking My Puppy Gave To Me to school to share with his friends.

As I was reading My Puppy Gave To Me I would imagine us singing the songs together on Christmas Eve along with other Christmas Carols we have dubbed our favorite Christmas songs.

If I still home schooled Charlie I would use My Puppy Gave To Me for reading as well as in art. Because we could draw and act out our own 12 Days of Christmas.

Charlie, David and I could do our own version and ac tMy Puppy Gave To Me out at the Christmas party we host and we could invite our friends to join us in the play.

Charlie is getting better with reading I could see Charlie being able to read My Puppy Gave To Me on his own which is a plus because at this time last year Charlie wouldn’t have been able to do that. I also don’t think David would have that much trouble reading My Puppy Gave To Me which is a plus as well.

All in all My Puppy Gave To Me was a huge hit. I would purchase My Puppy Gave To Me to give as a Gift and to keep in my own home as well. I can’t wait to see if there are other books published by Cheryl Dannenbring  because if she has other novels I am sure we would enjoy them just as much as we did My Puppy Gave To Me.

From the Inside Flap

Who took the lights off the evergreen tree?

Join one naughty dog as he celebrates the twelve days of Christmas the only way he knows how-by being very, very mischievous. Filled with loads of energy and five pounds of love, this spirited little puppy makes for a memorable and entertaining holiday story. A fur-filled twist on the traditional carol, this book counts down the days until Christmas as one clever canine plays Kris Kringle.

Shredding curly ribbons and crushing shiny tree ornaments are just two of the playful but disastrous exploits of the troublesome pup. Although he misbehaves, this Christmas bundle is always six sloppy kisses away from a snuggle and a smile. Every time the puppy is caught red-pawed, a sneaky white cat is not far away. Climbing into the tree, creeping around corners, and sauntering away from trouble, this festive feline may be hiding something!

In a tale of missing mittens and reindeer slippers, fluffy friends and Christmas tea, these twelve days sparkle and shine with holiday magic! Illustrations inspired by the season mirror the jolly tone of the sing-along text, highlighting the detail of one hilarious and adorable puppy.
