My husband “LOVES ME”!! Yes, he does!!
My husband “LOVES ME”!! Yes, he does!! I know that sounds funny but he does and each year I learn more and more how much David loves me. Because we have been together 9 years in May. And each year since our 1st year together when the income tax comes in he gets me things I have wanted all year.
Like our first year together he payed for our Wedding. So I could have the one I always wanted. And even though he set a limit for us and we was able to stay true to the Budget. David surprised me with the dress I wanted that we hadn’t budgeted for. And gave up getting the tools he wanted
And this has been the way it is each year. As on our 4th year together he went and bought me new furniture for our home. As we hadn’t been able to purchase new furniture and had all hand me downs. And this included a brand new bed that I was able to fit into the budget he set for me.
Then last year it was new clothes for a Blogging conference I wanted to attend and a new camera and computer. And passes to Six Flags for Charlie. As well as some online courses I wanted to take. And he painted the entire inside of the trailer for me as I had been asking for it. Again giving up the tools he wanted for Charlie and I.
Then this year once income tax arrived he talked about a Motorcycle, tools for work or a truck for himself. As he could give me my car back. And even though he wanted and needed these items he put Charlie and I first again. And I can never thank him enough for what he did for me and also for Charlie.
As he went out and bought Charlie a new bike even though he had one he could ride. And will be getting him a TV for his room and a computer for school work. And payed off my computer and bought Charlie and I new phones. As we didn’t have one that worked.
Then went and got me a Treadmill from Academy that I had been wanting for years. As I was walking outside and sometimes it was too cold or late at night when I would find the time to walk. And David was worried something would happen. So now I have a treadmill. And can lose the weight I want to lose.
But that is not all David did for me. As David went to Sams and bought me my dream bike. That I had been wanting for over a year. And brought it home and put it together for me. So I can ride bikes with Charlie. And even though Suzzane my daughter banned me from riding bikes as I was always falling off hers. I have my own Three Wheel Trike and I can ride it. And I do. And I have fun on it. And I was able to make it to the store the other day and back home again. So that deserves a pat on the back.
And the nice part is Charlie and I talked David into getting a bike for himself and he did. And David picked out a 5 speed so he can chase Charlie around. And later on he may get a bike like I have so we can go to the grocery store.
And now all we need is a small trailer or truck so we can take the bikes out to the lakes and parks to ride around on. And I know one day we will have these things. As God will provide them for us. Maybe not today or tomorrow but one day. And until then I will be satisfied by just riding in my neighborhood.
And now my Goal is to make enough money through the Blog to purchase new TV for David for either our Wedding Anniversary, Father’s Day or Christmas. And I am not saying when but I know with hard work and God’s will I will be able to get the perfect TV for David. As I love him and he deserves it and so much more.
So if you think your significant other doesn’t love you just take a look around at all they do for you and you will see how much they do love you. As David cooks and cleans so I can run the blog and Homeschool Charlie. And he doesn’t have to do that but does because he loves me. And I love him more than life itself.
And once again I am so happy to say My husband “LOVES ME”!! Yes, he does!! and no, it is not because of all the things he buys me. But because of the way he treats me and our son. And the way he treats my family. And the love you see pouring from his eyes when he looks at Charlie and I. And the way his voice quivers when he says “I Love You”. Or when I am sleeping and he runs his hand over my hair and tells me he is leaving for work. Or if I am working and he walks up and kisses me on the head for no reason.
