My heart stopped last night as we watched Creed

I have wanted to see the movie Creed since it first came out although something always stopped us. Friday night I found out it was at Coyote Drive-In and Daddy’s Home was playing with it. I knew it was my chance to see both movies because both Charlie and David wanted to look at these films. As soon as David got home on Friday night, I informed him he was taking me to the Drive-In.

David asked me why I said because Daddy’s Home is playing and I know you want to see it, and Charlie does as well. Then I let David know my movie was there, and I can finally see it. David just looks at me and doesn’t even ask which movie it is. He just says one word. CREED…  I am like yes, it is there, and you are taking me. Next thing I know he says let’s go.

We waited until Saturday night and let me tell you it was cold outside. David told me we could wait and go another time. I said no, I am going tonight so off we went. Yes, it was cold, and we froze, but it was so worth it. I loved loved loved Creed.

Even though I didn’t think I would, I also liked Daddy’s Home, and Charlie and David did as well. Charlie has asked if he can get Daddy’s Home when it comes out on a DVD. Which I am okay with because it was funny and even though it is PJ 13, it wasn’t as bad as it could have been.

As for Creed, I have to purchase it as well as I love all the Rocky Movies and can tell you what happens in every one of them. Creed is a movie I would watch over, and over and it is the same with Daddy’s Home, and the beautiful part is both Charlie and David feel the same way.

Suzzane loved Rocky by watching Creed I can share movies Suzzane would have enjoyed with Charlie. If we get all of Rockies movies as he works out Charlie and I can do the same as it would be perfect for his PE class.

Even though we went to the movies to create a Family Movie Night, we can use this experience in homeschool which is nice. As it means the money we spent is for Education, and it was our first Field Trip. We will be writing our thoughts on Coyote Theater as well because I want Charlie to share his experiences in school.

If you haven’t had the chance to see Creed, I can tell you it’s a beautiful movie and one that will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you have watched Rocky, then Creed is a must-watch film. The only question I have is will there be another Creed? My family hopes there will be. So if you’re ready to stop breathing as my heart stopped several times last night as we watched Creed, I invite you to view it as well. You may want to take some kleenex with you.

Your legacy is more than a name. Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan star in CREED – in theaters November 25th, 2015.
