Once a month before Covid-19 David, Charlie and I would have to go out to the Alliance Shopping Center to pay our cable bill. While there we would go shopping at Winco and check out the clothes inside Targets.
We always try to get there when the stores open which meant we wouldn’t have time for Breakfast. One day we found My Cafe Breakfast & Lunch restaurant.
David was hungry and asked if I would like to go in and have Breakfast. I said that would be fine as I thought they might have Cereal of Waffles for Charlie.
Once we got inside and sat down they handed us a Menu and they didn’t have Cereal but they did have Chicken and Waffles. Charlie said he would like to try.
I wanted to let you know My Cafe Breakfast & Lunch is only open during lunch and breakfast. I looked through the menu I found a lot of dishes I would like to try for lunch.
David and I talked about going back one day for lunch and both of us can’t wait until Covid-19 is over so we can go back for lunch but Charlie say’s breakfast. Which one would you prefer and why?
Once we sat down it wasn’t hard to get Charlie off the phone to chose what he wanted to eat which surprised me and David. For me the hardest part was choosing from all the different dishes.
I was so happy to find out they offer free refills because David ordered Coffee which I shared with him and having free refills allowed us to save money.
Charlie ordered a Dr. Pepper which was perfect and had just the right amount of Ice and wasn’t flat. I chose a glass of Sweet Tea and it had just the right amount of Sugar in my Tea.
When we left they even refilled mine and Charlie’s drinks so we could take them with us. What surprised me was they asked David if he would like to take his Coffee to go.
This is the Whole Hog bowl David chose. This comes with Eggs, Hashbrown’s and Sausage inside the bowl. This is served with Toast of your choice. David chose Sourdough.
I chose the French Toast platter and the French Toast was think pieces of Sourdough Bread. I enjoyed the flavor but next time I will ask for extra Powdered Sugar.
Even though there were only two slice of French Toast as big as they were and with all the other food my plate came with I could only eat one slice and David took the other one.
David liked the French Toast as much as I did and said the next time he may get this unless Charlie wants David to order a bowl with him. Which we both know this is what will happen. Guys stick together…. But that is fine as it’s a bonding moment.
This is the picture of what else came with the French Toast I chose. I usually ask for Eggs over Easy but this time I asked for Scrambled Eggs and they was cooked to order. I will order these in the future.
My breakfast came with Sausage and Bacon usually I would ask for all Sausage and a Bowl of Gravy but with French Toast I didn’t need the Gravy and I chose the Bacon because I thought Charlie might like it as he loves Bacon as much as I do.
The Bacon was cooked to perfection and it wasn’t to crispy or to greasy. I would order the Bacon again. I also like the taste of the Sausage and it wasn’t to hot and didn’t bother my Stomach I can’t wait to order the Sausage again.
With Charlie’s breakfast Bowl Charlie chose Pancakes as his sides so he could take them home to share with Bradley. But Charlie and David ended up eating them as a snack.
They both liked the Pancakes a lot and said they would order them again. David said that a order of Pancakes would fill him up and he wouldn’t need anything else.
This was the first time Charlie had a cup of Coffee which David wasn’t to sure about but I reminded David to pick his battles and Coffee wasn’t that big of a deal.
I didn’t think Charlie would like the Coffee and wouldn’t want to have Coffee again but I was wrong. Which is fine because we don’t make it at home and most of the time when we eat out Charlie chooses a Soda so he can bring a refill home
