This is a review for Exploring Colors who sent me a box for a spot in our Mothers Day Gift Guide.
Good evening, I wanted to welcome you to a new Mother Day Gift Guide Sponsor: Exploring Colors which will make our Homeschool Art Class easy because I will not have to come up with projects for Charlie to do. The company does. Thank the Lord…
There is a lot of times when my niece Lily and her brother Jason come to visit and I don’t have anything to do. Which will not be the case now that I have Exploring Colors I can subscribe to.
Even though the box is for children up to 5 I know Jason who is 8 and Charlie my son who is 13 will want to help Lily with the projects. Each week I will watch the video we plan on doing that week and purchasing supplies for Charlie and Jason.
If they don’t come over that week Charlie could still do the Art project either by himself of with my niece Payton who is 8 and he sister Dixie who is 2. Or our neighbor Corbin who is 3 and his brother Bradley who is 14.
Inside the box I received were small Pipe Cleaners that can be used in the projects they sent and if there is pipe cleaners left over Lily and I could make a flower ring.
A empty box Lily can paint her name on the top. Then Charlie, Jason, Debbie and I can each paint one side of the box for Lily to put her treasures in.
Blue Model Magic which Charlie said he has used in school but I don’t think I have ever used this and I can’t wait to see how it work in our projects. I just wish the packages were resealable.
Beads of all colors. I know if I’m not careful Charlie would sneak the beads out to make a necklace with. I can see each of the kids picking out there favorite colors and make cute Art for there room. Or they would make Friendship Bracelets.
A Bottle of Elemer’s School Glue which I like using better than Glue Sticks which Charlie did ask me to get to add to the kit. Because he says its less messy and easier to use. But in this project I think the Blue Bottle is going to be easier to use. What do you think and why?
Pompoms in different colors and if there is any left I want to teach my nephew Jason how to make Pompom people. Have you ever made Pom Pom People if so were they easy or hard to make and why?
Small Paper Plates which I always keep on hand for any crafts we are doing. As well as for snack time in school. Charlie also uses these plates when were outside digging and gardening. Does your children use paper plates if so why?
Crayola Ultra Clean Washable Markers which will not only be used for this project but many more in our Homeschool Art Class. Charlie said these are the fat markers and has also asked me to pick up skinny markers for future projects.
Model Magic in yellow which Charlie says he can’t wait to use and if there is any leftover he will be using it when we create our Solar System to make the Sun out of.
Long Pipe Cleaners is colors both Charlie and I like including red and blue for Charlie. Lavender for me and yellow for my niece Lily. As for Jason he could have orange.
Crayola Model Magic is white which Charlie says is his favorite package because he likes white a lot. I do to I am just afraid it will get dirty and not stay white. What do you think and why?
Crayola Model Magic in Red Rouge which would be my mom’s and David’s moms favorite because they both like Red just like Charlie. I wonder if Charlie will share this color.
Then there is a postcard tell using which projects we will be doing with this box: Lesson 1: Mixing Colors is Magic.
Lesson 2 Patterns Everywhere
Lesson 3. 3D to 2D
Lesson 4: Decorate + Adorn
I can’t wait to see what the kids get to do in Patterns Everywhere. While Charlie can’t wait to see what 3D to 2D is and how it is done. Which of these projects would you most like to do and why?
