I was online this morning and I found a fun business for our family to visit as part of a Homeschool Field Trip I thought I would share with you if your in DFW or near Frisco, Texas. It’s called Monster Mini Golf a FUN affordable experience for kiddos, teens, young adults, parental units. Charlie will be 17 this year and he thinks he is two big for Birthday Parties but I’m thinking of bringing him and his friends her either for his Homeschool Graduation or for a night out on the town to celebrate C’s Birthday in December. Would you like to come with us?
About the business:
Our glow-in-the-dark mini golf Courses are populated with animated “Monsters” of international theme quality, they move, talk and at times tell silly jokes. The blacklights bring to life worldclass hand-painted, locally inspired artwork depicting sites and symbols unique to each location to give local flavor. All of this creative engagement, coupled with popular music, disco balls, moving concert lighting and on course games and entertainment make us a must-see experience in any town!

Our product is Guest Experience; Miniature Golf just happens to be the vehicle used to deliver it! The sole goal of Monster Mini Golf® is to provide a wide variety of affordable experiences in a fun, family-friendly, alcohol-free atmosphere. Age-appropriate Guest Experience is our product and memorable family entertainment are our top priorities. Mini Golf is for Everyone!
The Monster Mini Golf Experience is a unique Mini Golf Experience in the Universe. There is 18 holes of golf to play glow-in-the-dark- golf under black lights. Watch out for the Monsters which might keep me from sleeping for days on end. How about you? Although they do tell jokes so they may not be to scary. Did you know they have DISCO BALLS which I would love to have.
Make sure you bring extra money so you can stop by the arcade that features games for children of all ages. The arcade features Adventure Games like Jurassic Park, classic Ticket Givers like Big Bass Wheel, and Carnival Style like Down-a-Clown, our arcade will keep the youngsters busy loading up on prize tickets and giggling non-stop. The more prize tickets they collect, the bigger the rewards.
They also have Laser Tag which Charlie enjoys playing. I’ve played in the past as well but I’m horrible at it so I would sit this game out and let the boys play with David who I bet they all gang up on although knowing David he might hide from them all and jump out at them when there not expecting it.
As part of Charlie’s Homeschool PE Class we could play Glow in the Dark Bowling with mini glow-in-the-dark bowling lanes depending on mine and David’s shoulders we may have to sit and watch the kids play. But being a shorter game we might actually be able to play for a change which would be fun.
There is also Laser Maze which with mine and Charlies anxiety we might not be able to participate in but would be a great Homeschooling PE Activity for families. I know Charlie’s friends Time and Bradley would have a lot of fun trying to beat the high score leading to lots and lots of laughter. I could just see David trying to participate and falling down.
Last but not least is Virtual Reality and before you ask this isn’t something David or I know a lot about which would be a teaching moment for Charlie. I bet you David and Charlie would want to play King Kong Of Skull Island VR Experience and before you ask I would sit this one out letting David and Charlie bond.
