My name is Kayla Wilson. I am a mother of 2, an overnight caregiver in private home care, I have been a hospice caregiver for the last seven years, I am a CNA for over ten years. A CEO and Founder of Crazy Oil Chicks, Wellness Consultant with DoTerra Essential Oils. My passion for health and wellness started as a child with my Mother becoming an RN.
She was a single mother working numerous jobs to provide for us three kids and would often need to take me with her to work or to nursing school. Watching the passion, she had with each patient made a significant impact on my life to be the woman my Mom would be proud of and carry on her work of bringing health, wellness, love, compassion, and knowledge to those in my life. I can remember being a small girl and caring for many of my cousins on family vacations. I always found a reason to be their nurse. I even received the nickname nurse (burrito, complete another story though.)
At the age of 28, my health was failing no insurance and not a lot of extra cash severe constant pain with endometriosis, a 4-year-old daughter with persistent allergy-induced asthma, and a 6-year-old daughter with severe urological issues. The need to find an alternative to modern medicine and anything in the world to help was growing. Within seconds of my first application of essential oils, and I became hooked.
I had immediate relief from the constant pain in my ovary. I then signed up with DoTerra for the $35 membership; I figured this small price for instant 25% savings. Next thing I did was started studying nonstop, started online classes and I could find, attending any local class with every rep possible, and met so many beautiful diamonds and founders. I then started on my youngest daughters health it was insane to see the Doctors face when she went in for her testing weeks after beginning the essential oil combo lemon, lavender, and peppermint nightly on her feet. The doctor was amazed that my little bundle of wonder was doing great for the first time in her life. We started weaning her off of all medications.
Which was very new to my daughters and I. My daughter is now wholly allergy free and doing great. I am forever addicted to these DpTerra after this. Now my sad little note that changed everything. There was this incredible little boy that I had met that could light up a room and touch a million hearts. I don’t know why this little man affected my heart as he did, but man he moved my soul to the most significant depths. There came the point when he started to get sick and me as the busy woman that I am prayed and prayed and said to myself man I need to take some oils to his mother. That fever is nothing a little peppermint can’t handle, those seizures being brought on by the infection and illness should never happen I have got to get some oils over there tomorrow.
The lesson I learned was I should have already known tomorrow is not promised and he never woke up the day after. I swore then, and there I would never miss a chance to share my oils again. I know it’s not my fault, but it just struck my heart and grew my passion.
