I thought I would share a book which could be called a travel book for those of us who like to travel. Now, let me introduce you to Modern London: An illustrated tour of London’s cityscape from the 1920s to the present day by Lukas Novotny (Author), Christopher Beanland (Editor) that I received a copy of in exchange for this review. I liked knowing the book takes place from the 1920’s which is one of my favorite Centuries to today. The Author shows us how London has become modern. The book is divided up into chapters so you can read it all at once or a chapter a day. Charlie and I learned about places we had never heard of.
Charlie loved the architecture in the buildings and we was able to discuss stuff we didn’t learn about in Homeschool like Wall Street Crash which has allowed Charlie keep learning without being in a classroom. If you love traveling, old building or London then this is a must-have book for you and would make a nice Coffee table book.
