Mo’Bettahs

The Mommies Reviews

The other day I was on Facebook and found a post announcing Mo”Bettahs grand opening in the Alliance area in Fort Worth. I signed up and was invited to there grand opening were I would receive there small plate. The pate comes with 2 meats, White Rice and Macaroni Salad. The food is Hawaiin style.

We decided to go for dinner which was from 6 to 8 We took off for the restaurant which is in the HEB Shopping Center that is really growing up with several unique businesses I can’t wait to return to check out when we go grocery shopping at HEB. We walked up and there was a tent and a wheel we spoon and all three of us got coupons for a drink the next time we come eat here and yes, there will be a next time.

For those that don’t know me I am one of the pickiest people around and Charlie is the second. Before we left to go to the restaurant I looked up the menu so I would know what I wanted to order. We arrived and got into line and all the staff was so nice and they all made sure to speak to everyone who came in.

This grand opening from different from any I’ve been to in the past and it ran much smoother. We would get into line and once we got to the counter we was asked how many people was in our party and given a sack with our dinners in it. We didn’t get to choose what we wanted which was much smoother than waiting for food to be cooked.

There were drinks for us to pick up and someone handing out Cookies that was amazing. Dark Chocolate and White Chocolate Macadamia Nuts with Coconut. There is a cute little dinning room to sit down and eat in. I loved the Art work and because other people was eating in the restaurant we choose to as well.

In our container was TERIYAKI CHICKEN which was Grilled. The Chicken was cooked perfectly. The seasoning wasn’t overpowering and I can’t wait to have it again. and with Terrace Sauce on it which wasn’t overpowering. KĀLUA PIG which is Smoky and salty, our pork is slow roasted for over 10 hours until extremely tender. I loved this and not having any Sauce on it is the way I like to eat meat. I could see bringing this home and eating the Chicken that evening for dinner and the next day making a Sandwich with the Pork.

With our meal was Macaroni Salad and I loved the taste and wish my mom was here to try it as well. Along with White Rice that was plain but that is the way I like to eat Rice. Next time I will bring my meal home so I can add the Butter and Sugar to the Rice and eat it the way I like. Everyone had the same plates and my sister and David both enjoyed the food.

My son Charlie and his friend Bradley. My mother in law Sherry and my brother in law Mike came out with us and they loved the Meal as well and there was nothing that would have messed with there Diabetes. My mother in law said she thinks my father n law would have eaten this meal and when we go back she wants to get David Sr. KATSU CHICKEN Boneless chicken thigh breaded and deep-fried for the perfect crunch which Charlie and I also can’t wait to try.

Our plates would come with either Teriyaki Sauce or Katsu Sauce which we can’t wait to try the next time we come out. Debbie and David also want to try SHRIMP TEMPURA Tender shrimp dipped in a light batter and fried to a golden crisp which Charlie and Bradley might eat but I will pass on because I don’t do Shrimp. Do you?

I love how the menu isn’t over come with choices as it makes ordering and getting in and out fast. There is a Drive-Thru for those that don’t want to come inside and they have Family Meals. The guys can’t wait to come back and try some of the signature drinks which I might even try. Would you like to join my family here for dinner one night?
