Last weekend David and I decided we would eat dinner out to support the restaurants in our area that are open for Curb Side service. We asked Charlie what he would like for dinner.
Charlie surprised David and I when Charlie asked if we could eat at the restaurant we had eaten at when we got our glasses. I had to think back to what was beside America’s Best.
Luckily David remembered McAlister’s Deli was next door to America’s Best and that there was one in Hurst, Texas because I didn’t want to go into Lake Worth and neither did David.
I called McAlister’s Deli and asked them if I could order over the phone or if I would need to use the website. The gentleman on the phone was so kind he said he would take my order.
Throughout me placing the order he would ask me questions to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. He didn’t rush me or get upset when I changed things. I hope I am able to speak to him the next time I order because he made me feel so comfortable.
David and Charlie ordered Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap. The Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap was huge and full of meat. We were able to customize the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap to what Charlie and David wanted on there Wraps.
The Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap came with a side and David let me chose what I wanted. I picked out Country Potato Soup and so did Charlie. Charlie and I saved our soups so we would have lunch the next day.
McAlister’s Country Potato Soup is my favorite Potato Soup.When I’m not feeling good or it’s cold outside David stops by here and brings me soup home for dinner.
I ordered a The McAlister’s Club and changed the bread to a Croissant and left off the Swiss Cheese. I let the clerk know I only wanted Cheddar Cheese on my sandwich.
The McAlister’s Club was big enough that I could have saved some of my sandwich for lunch the next day. Or I could have ordered a half sandwich and soup and saved money.
The only thing Charlie and I would have done different with my Sandwich and Charlie’s wrap was to ask them to warm them up or Sandwich ans Wraps because I like Warm Snadwiches better than a Cold Sandwich. What about you?
I ordered Potato Salad for my side. I really liked the Potato Salad but I wish it hadn’t had Paprika on the top of it and Charlie would have tried it with me. I would order this again.
