NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 3, 2021) – Continuing on with The Acoustic Sessions, singer/songwriter Karissa Ella adds her touch to Pam Tillis’ “Maybe It Was Memphis.”

She remains true to traditional country sound featuring Jenee Fleenor (2x CMA Musician of the Year & ACM Fiddle Player Of The Year) on fiddle. Her clear tone and overall confidence come through adding a bit of youthfulness to a classic tune exclusively premiered by The Boot. Listen to “Maybe It Was Memphis” here.

“’Maybe It Was Memphis’  is one of my favorite Pam Tillis songs and I am honored to cover it! I hope I made her proud and hope listeners enjoy my take on this classic song,” says Karissa Ella.

In choosing the songs to cover for The Acoustic Sessions, Ella picked out songs that have influenced her musically. These songs are the ones she grew up listening to and have inspired her to pursue a career in country music. Now getting back to her roots, she is working on more new music to be released later this year.
