MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU WEEKEND AT THE PEROT MUSEUM OF NATURE AND SCIENCE MAY 4-5;

Two-day event to celebrate the power of the Force with saber battles on the plaza, virtual reality demos, droid races, themed music and performances, crafts, costumed character meet-ups, treats and more plus special showings of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakes and Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi

WHAT:  Galactic fans can connect with the light and dark sides of the “Force” next weekend as the Perot Museum of Nature and Science celebrates a pop-culture phenomenon with a two-day sci-fun event May 4-5: May the Fourth Be With You. Visitors can enjoy saber battles on the plaza, droid races, Star Wars films, themed music and food, performances, character meet-ups, virtual reality, crafts and much more. 

Guests are encouraged to don sci-fi garb while discovering the science behind the famous films, exploring robotics, futuristic technology and life on other planets.

Activities are free with general admission. Special showings of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens (11:15 a.m.) and Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi (2:15 p.m.)require a film ticket and additional charge. Presented by Highland Capital Management and Lockheed Martin.

  Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 5, from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m.
