Made With Love: Donuts!

This is a review for the children’s book Made with Love: Donuts! published by Lea Redmond and Illustrated by Flora Waycott in exchange for this review.

This morning when I was working Charlie asked if he could have Donuts for breakfast. David said yes, I will go pick Donuts up. Charlie would you like to come with me. Before I could say anything off they went.

Once they returned before Charlie sat down to eat he went to take a bath. I switched the Donuts out with the book k Made with Love: Donuts! because Charlie didn’t say what kind of Donuts he wanted.

I wish I had a picture of Charlie’s face when he opened the Donut box and found k Made with Love: Donuts! inside the box. Before I could say anything Charlie picked up the book was flipping through it.

Then he told his dad they needed to return to the Donut Store so he could check out some of the Donuts in the book. Which would be a Homeschool Field Trip for Charlie.

As we ate breakfast Charlie read k Made with Love: Donuts! to David and I. We discussed the Donuts and which ones we would like to try and why. Then which ones we wouldn’t want to try and why.

Charlie looked over the drawings and in Art Class this morning we drew pictures of Donuts and used different Art Supplies to decorate our Donuts. As well as created a Recipe for our Homeschool Cooking Class.

Made with Love: Donuts! is good for both children and adults of all ages but its geared towards Infants or Toddlers. The colors will catch there eyes and the shape of the book will be easy for the babies to hold.

Being a wooden book that can be wiped off means children will get a lot of use out of this new book. The story will keep children on there toes and keep them entertained as the story is being read.
