For the past couple months since my fathers passing I have been doubting myself not only as a child who didn’t spend enough time with her parents and now its to late.
To my role as a mom and a wife. I feel like I am the worse person on the Universe and that I can’t do anything write. I feel like throwing in the towel and climbing in a whole and never coming out.
Charlie and I keep butting heads on his school and when I try and talk to David about how I feel he gets mad. Then I went to check the mail and I found my copy of Loving Well in a Broken World: Discover the Hidden Power of Empathy
I could feel the Lord reminding me to Breath and to take time for myself. I took my book into my room and before I knew it I was lost inside the book and couldn’t stop reading.
I knew I wasn’t a bad person and that the Lord was bringing me through something and as long as I didn’t give up things would get better. I just needed to follow this novel and the advice she had for me on Empathy.
I can’t wait to purchase a copy of Loving Well in a Broken World: Discover the Hidden Power of Empathy for my sister who is also feeling lost from my dads passing.
