David’s Birthday is on the 27th of July and he loves German food. I always try and take David to Edelweiss for dinner but its so expensive so we don’t go and also, they quit selling Chicken Fried Steak so there is nothing in the restaurant for me to eat.
We found the Little German Restaurant on Henderson Street. The cook from Edelweiss left there and begin this restaurant. David and I actually like eating at Little German Restaurant better than Edelweiss.
I like knowing Little German Restaurant offers lunch specials usually I have the Chicken Fried Steak and Fried Potatoes with Onions unless I chose the Lunch Special.
I love the Chicken Fried Steak you will find at Little Germany which is made from scratch and it’s real meat. The Gravy is so creamy and has a great taste. The Potato’s and Onions are cooked to perfection.
I’ve also tried the German Potato Salad and the way it taste. I prefer my Potato Salad cold it’s still very tasty. I also get a Salad with the House Dressing and it’s so tasty. I wish I had some of the Dressing now.
The last time we went I had the Lunch Special which was a Ribeye and the Potatoes and Onions with a Salad. I loved how my Steak was cooked. The taste was out of the world and it wasn’t tough and there wasn’t a lot of fat on the Steak.
David likes to order the Plate that has everything on it. He love the Schnitzel and the Red Cabbage is his favorite. David also likes the way the Cabbage taste.
I can’t wait to return this month to celebrate David’s Birthday and this time I want to try some of the Desserts they have for sale. There is even food Charlie will eat on the Kids Menu.
If I had the money I would throw David a Birthday party at Little Germany because his parents love German Food just as much as David does and it would be nice to celebrate David’s Birthday with them.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
