Lion King

The Mommies Reviews

My family attended Lion King a couple weeks ago at CYT in MCL Grand in Lewisville, Texas in exchange for a review. I would like to begin by saying this review should have been posted weeks ago.

I can’t blame anyone else but myself for not getting this review done on time. I would like to apologize to the entire staff, actors and actresses for not following through.

These reviews allow people that haven’t heard about a event to find out about them and purchase tickets. Now, Lion King is over and they are working on there next play.

I hate not posting as soon as we saw Lion King because they did a phenomenal job putting this play together. The actors where children and kept us on the edges of our seats the entire time.

Home

Charlie wanted to get up and dance. Usually Charlie talks through movies and plays but Charlie became so involved in Lion King but Charlie didn’t move the entire time.

On the way home David kept telling me how much he liked the costumes they used in Lion King and wished we had been able to see Lion King again. I agreed with David because I would have liked to bring my niece and nephew with us.

Charlie has even asked how he can become a Actor and take classes to participate in plays now. I believe would be good for Charlie as it would help build his confidence and also improve his reading.

When Charlie begin middle school he plans on checking into Drama Club. I can’t wait to see where Charlie get in and how it helps him grow into a more confident young man.

A tale as old as time…
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
