I would like to share a children’s book from Usborne Books. Lift-the-flap Questions and Answers about Dinosaurs by Katie Daynes (Author), Marie-Ève Tremblay (Illustrator) which I received a copy of in exchange for this review.
Charlie like his sister Suzzane has always been fascinated with Dinosaurs and we used to play with Dinosaurs for hours on end while watching or reading books about Dinosaurs. With Charlie turning 16 this weekend I wanted to do a Throw-Back Birthday Party and use things from Charlie’s childhood to decorate the tables with. Which is why I was excited to receive .Lift-the-flap Questions and Answers about Dinosaurs.
With the little children who will be attending the party we can even take time to read the book to them although it might take us hours to finish the story as there is over 60 flaps to look through. Once we finish the book we can add it to our Homeschool Library to use when studying Dinosaurs and in Charlie’s cooking class we can make Dinosaur Cookies. Would you like to join us?
In Art Class having all the Dinosaurs will give Charlie plenty to draw and sculpture for weeks on end. I love how the Author shows us how to pronounce the Dinosaurs names. Inside the book are quicklinks which we can use to find websites where children can learn more about Dinosaurs which we will use in our studies.
If you know a child or even a adult who likes Dinosaurs then you need to pick up a copy of Lift-the-flap Questions and Answers about Dinosaurs to share with all the Dinosaur loving people you know. Don’t forget this book can get children off the electronics and give you loads to talk about as you check out the questions and answers included in the book.
About the book:
A colorful guide with over 60 flaps to lift to discover answers to questions young children might ask about dinosaurs. Provides simple and friendly answers to questions such as “Why do dinosaurs have tricky names?”, “Could dinosaurs swim?”, “How big was the biggest dinosaur?” and lots more. Includes a guide to some of the more difficult to pronounce dinosaur names. With Usborne Quicklinks to specially selected websites where children can find out more about dinosaurs.
