I love finding interactive books we can use in Homeschool that would work for more than one class. Which is what Life Log: Track Your Life with Infographic Activities which can be used in Art Class, Reading and Creative Writing as the book is all about ourselves.
Using the book gives me a chance to get to know David and Charlie better while sharing parts of myself they might not have known about. I love how there is a space on the front of the book for our names so we can keep the books to look through in years to come and always know which book belonged to who.
The book suggests using colored pencils which are Charlie and David’s pick when drawing or coloring. While I prefer crayons and have been using the Twisted Crayons and will even use them in my book because I like to be different. How about you?
There are even lessons for math inside this book and words we can use for Spelling and Vocabulary. I love how at the top of the pages it tells how long that activity should take. They suggest turning down pages, so we know where you or use multiple bookmarkers.
`I love how they use candy and foods in the book allowing us to sample new foods which would be perfect for Charlie’s Home Economics Cooking Class although since the book calls for Jellybeans and none of us like them, I might use a bunch of different candies representing the colors on the graph making this activity a one-of-a-kind project for our family.
