Lets Share Our Dreams For Our Blogs

This morning is Day 3 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge. This mornings prompt says it would be a good time to write about your future and where you want to take your blog/website.

All of us should have goals in both our personal lives and also in our businesses. This is my 9th year running TheMommiesReviews.com and over the years my dreams for my site haven’t changed.

I just want to create a blog where I am able to help and empower others through the post I share. Along with giving advice everyone can use. As well as helping other business owners be seen by featuring them on here.

9 years from now I will be almost 60 years old and Charlie will be 18 if it is God’s will and I am still blogging and have been able to turn this small blog into a business Charlie will be 18 and I would like to turn it over to him.

I would like to teach Charlie how to run his own business and become his own boss. So he never has to go out and work for someone else. To do this I have Charlie already running his own blog.

As I sit here this morning I am once again placing both my life and my business into Gods hands and fully relying on him to help me reach these goals. This week my goal is for at least one person to come and read my blog.

As well as one client to work with me and I would be very happy. I know I can help others if they just give me a chance to share the things I have gone through with them.

#BlogBoost

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates

  1. That’s exactly what I hope for my daughter too.One day she will blog too.I am a doctor and would want her to be that too , but everything, after all, is in Gods hands .we can only try!

    1. Yes, we can only try and a doctor thank you for all the things you do to keep others safe and healthy. I am sure if your daughter chooses to be a doctor she would be great at it. And I can see her blogging as well. My son is 9 and runs his own blog and also helps out on here.

  2. I know just how you feel. My son just turned 18 this year. I am hoping that someday he will be running his own business.

    1. WOW, 18 already. Although if I must confess I also have a daughter who was born in 1988 and passed away at 16 back in 2004. So I would hope the same thing for her as I hope for my son. So I wish your son the best and if he does start his own business stop back by and let me know what he does.

  3. Your website is all set for its purpose! I dream of having a website like yours that will help businesses. To borrow a phrase, ‘to help and empower others’ is such a noble cause. Cheers!

    1. Thank you and I am sure if you started a blog yours would be just as empowering as I want mine to be. As we can all empower and help others as long as we try.

  4. I’m just taking one day at a time. I just started by blog on Christmas Day 2014 and I’m 68 years old. I would love to blog as long as I can, I think it’s one good way to keep my brain engaged.

    1. Taking things one day at a time is the best way to do things. As for being 68 Congrats. I will be there before I know it and if I am still able to blog I will consider it a huge accomplishment. As like you I know it will keep my brain engaged and me on my toes.

  5. My dream for my blog is to be successful enough with it that I will be able to earn an income from it and support myself, no more stress over money.

    1. I hope that happens for you as it is also a dream of mine to be able to make enough to hire a helper and pay some of the bills to take some stress of my husband. In the meantime it is nice to meet you. I will check out your site as well as I love making new friends.

    2. I agree with you as I also have the same dreams. Although last year I was doing good at it this year has been horrible and I am struggling. I feel like I am just starting out. So its time to kick things into high gear and figure out what is wrong.

  6. The reason I started my business was so my family for generations to come. I think that it’s awesome to see people starting businesses that they can one day leave to their children. I would be interested in talking with you more and see if somehow we might be able to do something together.

  7. Hi, Glenda.
What an amazing vision for your blog.
    9-years is phenomenal.
I started blogging back in 2007 but have switched blogs a lot.
The one I have now is going through a transition to match more of my core values and life mission.
Having a small business blog to hand down is a great plan and training him now is smart.
    #blogboost
    Blessings.

    1. Thank you Sara and like you I have changed blogs many time but always return to here as it is where my heart is. I wish you the best with your site. Blessings to you as well.
